Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team. This is a dual role that requires someone equally comfortable managing projects in the field and developing detailed estimates in the office. Responsibilities
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project schedule, budget, subcontractors, and client communication.
- Utilize Procore for all project management functions including RFIs, submittals, drawings, daily logs, change orders, contracts, and budget tracking.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial projects.
- Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and GMP/lump sum proposals.
- Participate in preconstruction services including value engineering and constructability reviews.
- Conduct regular site visits across southern Colorado to monitor progress, safety, and quality.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and owners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage all project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Maintain detailed project schedules using Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
Skills
- 5 years of commercial construction project management experience (required).
- Estimating experience in commercial construction (required).
- Proficiency in Procore (preferred).
- Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, specifications, and contract management.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites across southern Colorado.
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
