Commercial Construction Superintendent
Alcon Construction is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team. With over 50 years in the industry, we have built a strong reputation for honesty, integrity and professionalism. You’ll be an important part of our team as a superintendent, responsible for overseeing all on-site, day-to-day aspects of commercial construction projects from start to completion.
Compensation
Pay Range: $80,000 - $95,000 but may be negotiable based on experience
Full-time salaried position based in Southern Colorado
Position Summary
In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other team members to ensure projects meet their goals, schedules and budgets. This involves developing a comprehensive understanding of project plans and specifications, as well as diligently monitoring and enforcing safety and quality standards on site. Effective and consistent communication with the project team, owners, architects and subcontractors is essential. Education and Experience
5 years of Commercial Superintendent experience is desired. You must be proficient in interpreting project plans and specifications, possess basic computer skills and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Professional references who can attest to your experience as a GC superintendent are also required.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the physical ability to stand for extended periods, work in various weather conditions, as well as the capacity to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and exert significant physical effort, including regularly lifting at least 50 lbs. While most of our projects are located in the San Luis Valley, the willingness to work in other parts of the state for the duration of a project is necessary. The typical work schedule is 45 to 50 hours per week, and some weekend work may be required.
