Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
- Operate Square POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and safety standards.
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for sales transactions.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
- Assist in food preparation and serving food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
- Support team members in daily operations to create a positive work environment.
Experience
- Previous Barista experience or background in food service or the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic retail math for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
