The firm is seeking an Equity Research Associate to join its growing Technology practice. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a senior analyst covering some of the most dynamic and fast-evolving sectors in the market, including cryptocurrency, blockchain infrastructure, data centers, and high-performance computing (HPC).
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on public companies across cryptocurrency, blockchain, data center, and HPC sectors
• Build, maintain, and refine detailed financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, comparable company, and precedent transaction frameworks
• Assist in the preparation of initiation-of-coverage reports, earnings previews and reviews, thematic research notes, and sector updates
• Monitor sector news, industry developments, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics on an ongoing basis
• Support senior analyst in client interactions, investor calls, and conference presentations
• Develop and maintain relationships with company management teams, institutional investors, and industry contacts
• Contribute to the team's thought leadership by identifying emerging trends and investment themes within coverage sectors
Qualifications
• Minimum 1.5 years of sell-side equity research experience required; technology sector experience strongly preferred
• We will prioritize candidates with SIE/86/87 licenses
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, data center infrastructure, and/or HPC markets preferred
• Highly proficient in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and quantitative analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical and financial concepts for an institutional audience
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
Compensation
Base Salary Range: $100-150k (offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set)
Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on individual performance and the overall success of the Company.
