Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mount Dora, FL, for a Logistics Warehouse Quality Assurance Manager. The role involves overseeing quality assurance processes within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The manager will lead quality checks, implement process improvements, and collaborate with logistics and operations teams to maintain high-quality standards. Responsibility for inventory accuracy, reporting, and ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols is also integral to the role. Additional tasks may include training staff in quality procedures and addressing any issues to meet customer expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance practices, including quality control processes and standards
- Experience in warehouse logistics and inventory management
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations relevant to agricultural or food production industries
- Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to train and guide staff
- Effective problem-solving, attention to detail, and data analysis capabilities
- Proficiency in logistics software and reporting tools
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, agriculture, or a related field; relevant experience will also be considered
- Previous experience in agricultural or food production industries is a plus
