Production Supervisor

Help Lead a Growing Manufacturing Operation

GZ Printpak LLC, part of the globally recognized GZ Media Group, is continuing to expand our U.S. manufacturing operations in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. We produce high-quality paper packaging for premium and luxury brands and are building a strong leadership team to support our growth.

We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead 1st shift operations and drive performance across safety, quality, and production.

Schedule
1st Shift: 5:30am - 2pm
Additional hours or flexibility may be required based on production needs

What You’ll Do

• Lead and support production teams with full accountability for shift performance
• Own key KPIs including output, labor efficiency, OEE, and scrap rate
• Monitor daily performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Analyze performance gaps and implement corrective action plans
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, quality requirements, and work instructions
• Coordinate staffing, attendance, and shift priorities to meet production goals
• Train and onboard new employees, including temporary staff
• Provide coaching and on-the-floor leadership to drive consistency and performance
• Maintain accurate production tracking and shift communication boards
• Address production issues in real time and escalate when necessary
• Support continuous improvement initiatives including Lean and 5S practices

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing experience required
• 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a production environment
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to lead from the production floor
• Experience managing production KPIs and driving performance improvements
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently on 2nd shift
• Familiarity with safety standards, production systems, and continuous improvement practices

Nice to Have

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, operations, or related field
• Experience in printing, packaging, or industrial production
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing or 5S methodologies
