Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently while providing friendly, attentive service to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage POS systems such as Clover POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions, credit card payments, and tabs seamlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and suggest drink pairings to promote sales and elevate the guest experience.
- Handle cash handling responsibilities accurately while balancing registers at shift end.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage delivery during busy service periods, including banquet or catering events.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, with a strong background in bartending or serving in fine dining or casual environments.
- Extensive knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
- Demonstrated expertise in mixology, spirits knowledge, wine pairing, craft beer selection, and beverage recipe development.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and special event days such as banquets or catering functions.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding for sales promotion opportunities, and food industry knowledge for menu familiarity.
