What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Blackstone Pizza?
We are looking for a bartender/server with attention to detail to provide an excellent guest drinking and dining experience. Bartenders with previous experience are what we are looking for. Those who are comfortable performing independently making drinks, taking orders, serving food, and using the register/POS system to accurately take care of customers. Compensation is $8.00 per hour plus tips. 1-2 days per week. Shifts are from 3pm to 9pm and after depending if there are still customers in the bar. Could possibly be a regular weekly schedule or filling in when help is needed.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
