This is a part-time position with a maximum of 1,508 hours per year and is not eligible for paid holidays, leave, or benefits.

Lifeguard I - Entry level hourly rate is $17.32
Lifeguard II - Entry level hourly rate is $19.42
Minimum Qualifications
Lifeguard I and II qualifications:
- Candidate must be 16 years of age.
- Valid and current Lifeguard Training Certification by date of hire. (a copy of the current certification must be attached to your application)
- Water Safety Instructor certification preferred.
- Able to demonstrate proficiency in swimming abilities and the ability to handle rescue activities while in the water.
- Able to identify problems either visually or by auditory means in order to be alert to life saving needs.
- Water Safety Instructor, Lifeguard Instructor, Certified Pool Operator or Aquatics Facility Operator, EMT, Paramedic, and/or Coaching Certification.
Other Job Requirements/Information
This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing.
