Job Description
This Grounds Maintenance Associate will be responsible for landscaping duties, janitorial duties, and litter collection.
Essential Duties
- Maintaining playground/island mulch, turf (natural and synthetic), dragging baseball field infields, changing home plates and base anchors
- Inspecting park assets including playgrounds for safety standards
- Applying herbicides (pre- and post-emergents) and fertilizers
- Operating irrigation systems and performing minor repairs
- Maintaining passive areas
- Operating tractors and commercial zero turn mowers
- Operating small engine equipment (backpack blowers, edgers, and string trimmers)
- Performing preventative maintenance and performing repairs on equipment, chain link fencing/gates
- Reporting incidents to leadership
- Providing maintenance reports
- This job may require on-call rotation and emergency after hours, weekends, and/or holidays.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of grounds maintenance experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above will also be considered.
- Driver's license
- CPR/First Aid Certification
