Duties

• Assist with the installation and repair of commercial plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
• Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support project execution.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively on construction sites.
• Support welding and mechanical tasks as needed to ensure proper assembly of plumbing components.
• Help with site preparation, including layout work, measuring, and basic carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations.
• Participate in remodeling, maintenance, and routine inspections of existing plumbing systems within commercial buildings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

• Basic understanding of construction processes and construction plumbing techniques.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment used in plumbing work.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and mechanical systems such as hydronic heating and chilled water systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on troubleshooting and problem-solving on construction sites.
• Experience or familiarity with field service operations, assembly work, or handyman tasks is a plus.
• Good communication skills with the ability to follow instructions precisely and work collaboratively within a team.
