Account Manager, Midwest Territory (Full-Time)
Home-Based with Midwest Travel | Full-Time | $60,000 – $70,000/Year Bonus

We are hiring an Account Manager to represent our Packaging and Supplies program across Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Michigan, North Dakota, and South Dakota. This is a home-based, field-focused role for an experienced sales professional who loves being on the road, building real relationships with store teams, and helping great customers win. What You Will Do
As an Account Manager, you will:
- Visit our wholesaler customers’ grocery stores, and processors throughout your Midwest territory, with regular cadence on priority accounts and board member stores.
- Promote our Packaging and Supplies program, identify new opportunities, and grow sales with both new and existing customers.
- Build strong working relationships with store managers and department leaders, addressing questions and resolving issues quickly.
- Plan and submit weekly schedules in advance, then turn in detailed post-visit reports each week.
- Keep the General Manager and Territory Manager informed on delivery commitments, pricing, customer feedback, and any issues in the field.
- Ensure customer satisfaction across every product and service we deliver.
- Complete all sales paperwork accurately and on time.
- Stay current on industry trends and represent GVH with integrity in every interaction.
What We Are Looking For
- High school diploma required. Some college education is a plus, though a degree is not required.
- Three or more years of experience in sales, account management, territory management, or customer service.
- Grocery, foodservice, supermarket, or packaging industry experience is a strong plus.
- An outgoing, people-first approach. You are comfortable meeting new people, put others at ease, and inspire trust.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English, including the ability to write reports and deliver presentations.
- Strong organization and time management. You can run your own schedule and deliver on your commitments.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Michigan in all types of weather.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Position Details
- Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 per year, based on experience, plus bonus incentives.
- Schedule: Full-Time, with weekly travel throughout the Midwest territory.
- Location: Home-based, covering Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
- Company vehicle provided for business travel, with fuel and approved travel expenses covered.
- Laptop, cell phone and service plan, and business cards provided.
- Reports to the General Manager and Territory Manager.
