Guy F. Atkinson Construction, LLC, one of the nation’s most experienced heavy civil construction contractors, is seeking a Graphic Designer to become a key member of our fast-paced Marketing team. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and dedicated professional with a trained eye and talent for producing sophisticated graphic designs, illustrations, and layouts. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of related experience, preferably in the A/E/C industry, and will help ensure that Atkinson’s image and key messages are communicated in a distinctive and effective manner through various proposal documents, presentations and other marketing materials.

Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer helps ensure that Atkinson’s image and key messages are communicated in an effective and distinctive manner through various proposal documents, presentations and other marketing materials.
This is an onsite role based in our Renton, WA office.
Responsibilities
- Creating and producing sophisticated and high-impact graphics, illustrations, organization charts, covers, tabs, and document templates for visually appealing, distinctive and highly effective marketing materials, proposal documents, presentations, websites, and social media all within Atkinson’s corporate brand standards.
- Developing materials for oral presentations for print and digital platforms (presentation boards, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Supporting our proposal teams by enhancing the design, layout, and flow of proposal documents and presentations using good design principles to increase visual appeal and readability.
- Developing visual content for corporate marketing materials, including brochures, advertisements, presentations, signage, and other collateral.
- Collaborating with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to brainstorm ideas, define project needs and requirements, and ensure designs align with brand and messaging.
- BFA/BA in Graphic Design or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a graphic design capacity, preferably in the A/E/C industry.
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and MS PowerPoint.
- Ability to draw and create custom graphics and illustrations in programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Experience designing creative, attractive, and easily readable documents utilizing good design principles. Experience utilizing periodical style or other unique design styles is a significant plus.
- Experience creating powerful and engaging slide decks with PowerPoint and Google Slides.
- Experience designing for both print and digital platforms.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with senior management, supervisors, colleagues, and partners.
- Excels at working both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with video production and editing a plus.
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
