What You’ll Be Doing (And Why It Matters)

At our Freedom, NY sawmill, your work directly impacts production, safety, and uptime. You will:

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on sawmill equipment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose failures and correct root causes—not just symptoms
• Strictly follow and advocate for Lock Out / Tag Out procedures
• Execute and comply with hot works permits and safety protocols
• Work hands-on in a demanding industrial environment—indoors and outdoors
• Support operations during off-shifts, nights, and weekends as required
