Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods with precision.
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly for maximum satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred, especially in fine dining or high-volume environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service enhances guest interactions.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs efficiently.
• Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations is essential for maintaining health standards.
