What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC Incoming Inspector position at GuruNanda LLC?
Position Summary:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on QC Inspector for inspection of
incoming finished products, components and packaging materials. The ideal
candidate brings strong experience in incoming QC and documentation control within
the manufacturing of cosmetics, OTC drugs, dietary supplements, and potentially
medical devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- To prepare, update and maintain finished good (FG), component & packaging materials master’s for outside manufactured or assembled products.
- To perform control of FG, component & packaging materials from receipt to release as per SOP.
- To perform form/fit/function and dimensional analysis where required for finished goods (FG), components and packaging materials.
- To sample, inspect and release FGs, component & packaging materials on time.
- To prepare and maintain the inspection reports.
- To keep inspection release log up to date.
- To monitor reworked or rejected FGs, components and packaging materials to ensure products are being reworked or disposed properly.
- To identify and control nonconforming FGs, components & packaging materials and assist in determining root cause, corrective/preventive actions.
- To review the GMP compliance in warehouse area to ensure FGs, Components and packaging materials are not contaminated during handling and storage.
- To review the Pest control process of the warehouse.
- Report any unusual quality incident to immediate supervisor in a timely manner.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required by Management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2–3 years of progressive experience in Quality Control and/or Assurance within OTC Drug and Dietary Supplement manufacturing
- Experience with cGMP, incoming QC inspection, AQL sampling plan and knowledge of using the measuring tools like vernier caliper, micrometer etc.
- Ability to lead by example and drive quality culture in the warehouse
- Speak and write English
- Basic mathematics skills
- Basic computer skills
- Responsibilities may be shifted based on the department and company’s demand
- Flexibility in work schedule
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
