Job Summary:
The Host at Gigi’s is the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires a polished, engaging, and service-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a gracious demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and sincerely as they arrive, creating an inviting first impression.
- Manage reservations and walk-in seating using the restaurant’s reservation system.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table turnover and optimal seating flow.
- Provide accurate wait times and keep guests informed during peak periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand, entryway, and lobby area.
- Assist with answering phones, taking reservations, and responding to guest inquiries.
- Support the service team as needed to ensure exceptional guest experience.
- Uphold Gurney’s service standards and brand values at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous hosting or guest service experience in a high-volume, upscale dining environment preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional presence.
- Ability to remain calm and gracious under pressure.
- Experience with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable, Resy) a plus.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- $20.00-$22.00 per hour.
