Site Overview
We have a great opportunity to join our Finance Team in the USA. This role is full time and permanent and will be based in Dallas, Texas.
The role will work with the Marine & Industrial Finance Team based in Montreal, Canada and the BU Controller who is based in Spain. In addition they will support and interact with the site management team, Group Controlling & Treasury, BU Management team.
Purpose of the Function
Support business performance by ensuring accurate standard costing, comprehensive cost analysis, and reliable financial reporting for the site
Description of the Role
- Support month‑end close activities for the plant, including journal entries, accruals, inventory valuation, inventory counting and other reconciliations
- Analyze purchase price variances, material usage variances, labor variances, and overhead absorption
- Ensure proper accounting for scrap, rework, and obsolescence
- Defining, maintaining, and controlling standard costing processes for manufacturing site
- Support capital expenditure tracking and post‑investment reviews
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for manufacturing cost elements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal audit requirements
- Support the Site Manager in driving the financial performance of the business

Skills & Experience
- 3 years experience of cost accounting or manufacturing finance
- University Degree with major in finance/business management or equivalent.
- Certified Accountant – CPA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent.
- Experience with ERP Systems (Microsoft D365/Quickbooks)
- Self motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Proficient in local accounting and tax requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with non-finance teams.
