Gurgoff & Co. Inc. is a high-end jewelry design and manufacturing company dedicated to creating exquisite, one-of-a-kind pieces. We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our team as Jewelers.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate handmade jewelry
- Assemble jewelry pieces
- Clean castings
- Perform laser soldering and torch soldering
- Repair and resize jewelry to customer specifications
- Prong re-tipping, and other repair tasks
- Work under a microscope for precision
- Maintain high organization and attention to detail
- Meet or exceed established quality standards
- Ability to finish jewelry is a plus
Requirements:
- Proven experience in handmade jewelry fabrication
- Proficiency in jewelry assembly
- Knowledge of casting cleaning techniques
- Experience with laser soldering and torch soldering
- Ability to polish jewelry to a high standard
- Comfortable working under a microscope
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed quality standards
- Experience with finishing jewelry is a plus
