Position Summary
The Accounting Supervisor supports daily accounting operations with a focus on accounts receivable and accounts payable activities. This role ensures accurate financial transactions, supports operational efficiency, and maintains compliance with company policies and procedures.
Core Responsibilities
Accounting Operations Oversight
• Support daily accounts receivable and accounts payable activities
• Handle overflow of AR & AP as needed
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
Accounts Receivable & Payable Management
• Review AR invoices in the accounting system for accuracy
• Review and approve AP invoices created by the Accounting Assistant
Month End Close & Financial Support
• Prepare journal entries at month end for accrued AP
• Assist with month end balance sheet reconciliations
System & Process Improvement
• Work with the Accounting Manager on AR & AP procedures
Compliance & Confidentiality
· Maintain confidentiality of all financial and organizational information
· Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting procedures
· Support audit preparation and documentation requirements
