The Gunnison Valley – Home Energy Assessment Team (GV-HEAT) works as a clearinghouse at the intersection of health and economic equity and environmental justice to implement community led solutions for a clean economy and environment. GV-HEAT connects households to resources that help them improve the energy efficiency, comfort, and affordability of housing in Gunnison and Hinsdale Counties. These resources are available based on household income and can be used by both renters and homeowners. One of the programs managed by GV-HEAT is the GreenDeed program, an energy efficiency upgrade program for deed-restricted homes in Crested Butte and Mt. Crested Butte. The GreenDeed Program Assistant will assist with GreenDeed to improve energy efficiency of residential buildings in the upper Gunnison Valley, while building equity, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and improving health and safety within the communities. The GreenDeed Program Assistant is responsible for enhancing the GreenDeed participant customer experience, furthering outreach to educate the community about a vast set of rebate opportunities and adding structure and analysis to the GreenDeed program.
Pay Rate
The hourly pay range is from $23.03 to $25.22, depending on experience, plus partial benefits.
This position is 20 hours per week.

Requirements
Qualifications/Education
- 1 year experience working in energy efficiency, electrification, construction, energy coaching, building science, property management, environmental sustainability or related fields.
- Bachelor’s degree in environmental management, sustainability, building science, or experience in related field.
Salary : $23 - $25
