Job Summary:

Gunnin Land Surveying is seeking a Permit Technician to coordinate and facilitate the municipal approval of documents produced by our firm such as Final Plats and As-built Surveys.


Job Expectations:

- Review and follow municipal requirements for items required for submittals

- Submit documents for review (electronically or in person throughout the metro area)

- Follow up regularly with reviewers to obtain review comments, status of review, etc.

- Coordinate with and assist staff and clients regarding comments provided by municipalities

- Deliver/mail necessary documents on behalf of our staff or clients

- Maintain up-to-date schedule on status of all jobs, status of reviews, outstanding items, etc.


Job Requirements:

- Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and change priorities as needed

- Must be a proficient and professional communicator

- Must be well organized and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.

- Prior experience or knowledge of permitting for construction, surveying, engineering, or similar fields is preferred


Compensation:

-$20/hr-$30/hr (depending on experience)
