Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented Research Navigator to support and advance clinical and operational research initiatives across our organization and the Gundersen Medical Foundation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning ideas into meaningful, data-driven outcomes that improve patient care and operational excellence. Position Overview The Research Navigator serves as a key partner to clinicians, operational leaders, and learners by guiding research and quality improvement projects from concept through completion. This role blends project management, research methodology, and data analysis to ensure projects are executed efficiently, rigorously, and with measurable impact. Key Responsibilities Partner with stakeholders to translate clinical and operational questions into structured, measurable research studies Lead research and quality improvement projects from concept development through execution and dissemination Develop project plans, establish timelines, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Identify data sources, support data collection and analysis, and interpret findings into actionable insights Proactively identify and remove barriers to keep projects on track Develop research protocols, tools, and documentation to ensure methodological rigor Support scholarly dissemination efforts, including abstracts, manuscripts, presentations, and posters Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, clinicians, and learners on research design, methods, and data interpretation Position Overview: 1.0 FTE, 40 hours a week Monday - Friday, Days Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin Starting salary of $59,800 more for experience Competitive benefits package, including our top-rated retirement plan Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required in statistics, STEM field, public health, sociology, psychology or a health-related field 3-5 years' experience in research coordination, project management, or healthcare analytics Strong understanding of research methodology, study design, and quality improvement principles Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret quantitative data Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment Emplify Health is comprised of two of the Midwest’s most respected healthcare systems, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System.
