You’ll have the opportunity to lead daily operations, collaborate closely with the Clinical Manager, and guide a team of caregivers on the Obstetrics and Nursery Unit.
What You Will Do
- Work an hourly position in a 0.75 - 0.9 fte
- Positions will be 12-hour night shifts. In addition, 8 hours of administrative time will be allotted each pay period.
- Every third weekend and holiday
- Serve as Charge RN during scheduled shifts and ensure smooth daily operation of the unit
- Serve in a day-to-day leadership role, supporting staff through problem-solving, sustaining change, and responding to ideas and concerns in real time.
- Support staff development, performance management, and adherence to quality standards.
- Provide follow-up on quality and safety events.
- Lead approximately 10-15 RN direct reports and manage performance.
- Build and strengthen leadership skills.
- Develop knowledge in human resources, unit operations, and financial management.
- Attend New Leader Onboarding classes.
- Enjoy autonomy and a strong collaborative relationship with the Unit Manager.
- Work in an environment that values and supports you—personally and professionally.
- Minimum 2 years RN experience in Obstetrics
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Nursing (minimum).
- Active RN license in Wisconsin.
- BLS certification for healthcare providers.
