Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking an RN, Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) to work with Ambulatory Care Departments supporting our Iowa clinic sites (home base Decorah, IA).

What You Will Do
- 1.0 FTE, salaried role
- Home base of Decorah with monthly travel to Postville, Lansing, Calmar, and Waukon; occasional travel to West Union, Fayette, Onalaska, and LaCrosse (fleet car available for travel).
- On-site orientation required in LaCrosse or Onalaska for approximately 1 month.
- Evaluate nursing practice, assess practice gaps, identify learning needs, participate in process improvement projects and initiatives both within area of responsibility and at the system level
- Facilitates professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert.
- Function as a change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, partner for practice transitions, and advocate for the nursing professional development (NPD) specialty
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in Nursing required within 5 years
- 3-4 years of RN experience or equivalent required; ambulatory care RN experience preferred
- RN licensure to practice in the state of Wisconsin upon hire
