Key responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized occupational therapy interventions based on patient needs
- Educate patients and families using task analysis tailored to learning needs
- Complete documentation in accordance with department standards to support effective care and reimbursement
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and communicate the value of occupational therapy services
- Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives
- Pursue continuing education to maintain and enhance professional knowledge
- Ensure patient safety and engage personally with patients
What you will need
- Occupational Therapist license with the State of Wisconsin (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with patients and team members
