Join Emplify Health by Gundersen as a Family Medicine Physician serving the welcoming rural communities of Elroy and Friendship, Wisconsin. This outpatient-focused position offers a unique blend of clinical care and dedicated research time, allowing you to make a meaningful impact on patient health while exploring population health topics that matter to you. As part of a collaborative care team, you will help strengthen rural healthcare access and outcomes in these communities.
Your Practice at a Glance
Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.

Your Practice at a Glance
- Outpatient only
- Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week: 32 patient contact hours, 8 research)
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care across Elroy and Friendship clinics
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to support prevention and long-term patient relationships
- Dedicate 20% of your time to research or community projects aligned with population health priorities through the Orion Program
- Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, or clinical staff as part of our medical education philosophy
- Engage with the community to improve health outcomes and foster innovation in rural care delivery
