About the Role
As a Prep Cook at the Moxy in Allentown, PA, you’ll handle the essential prep work that keeps our kitchen running smoothly. From chopping vegetables to organizing ingredients, you’ll make sure the team has everything ready for a successful service.
Responsibilities
Prepare and portion ingredients to recipe standards
Wash, chop, and organize produce and proteins
Label, store, and rotate food items properly
Maintain a clean and organized prep area
Assist line cooks and chefs as needed
Qualifications
Kitchen or food prep experience preferred, but willing to train
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Reliable, punctual, and a team player

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
