We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager for DDC controls in the Northern Virginia area to support building automation projects on large HVAC and energy management systems.
Impact
- Keep control projects aligned with specs, schedules, and budgets.
- Make integration with HVAC, plumbing, and energy systems go smoothly.
- Be the link that keeps clients, subs, and field teams talking.
Responsibilities
- Help plan, coordinate, and manage DDC control projects.
- Work with senior project managers, engineers, and technicians on design and installation.
- Develop and manage layouts, schematics, and submittals in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Assist with commissioning, including programming and testing BACnet and Tridium Niagara systems.
- Resolve project issues quickly between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Must-Haves
- Two or more years in commercial mechanical construction or controls, focused on building automation or DDC.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with Tridium Niagara, Distech, ALC, and Metasys.
Nice-to-Haves
- Technical certification in building automation.
- Field experience on live commissioning.
Compensation and Logistics
