This role will be responsible for pulling plates ahead of production on a job basis. Plates are pulled and organized on a job basis and are accessible for the builders when they need them.

Role Description:
This role will be responsible for pulling plates ahead of production on a job basis. Plates are pulled and organized on a job basis and are accessible for the builders when they need them.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pull plates from inventory and gather in organized fashion as directed from material list.
- Keep work area neat, clean, free from any possible hazards or debris.
- Assist table personnel in finding plates for particular jobs as necessary.
- Notify Plant Manager of inventory shortages or potential outages.
- Always adhere to company safety procedures, wearing required PPE while in plant area.
- Operate in all facets with a high degree of customer service and attentiveness to other truss team members.
- Work in open warehouse atmosphere with conditions similar to outdoors.
- Any other tasks or projects as assigned by management
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Be able to differentiate between different plate sizes and specs.
- Good customer service skills
