Director of Marketing

Job Summary

Director of Marketing will oversee, coordinate, and participate in the development of marketing strategies for the organization. This role will work closely with branch personnel to develop their strategic marketing plans to incorporate and leverage the overall universal plan of the business. Responsibilities include but not limited to data analysis, reporting, market research, competitive analysis, planning, press liaison and management, social media management, online presence, customer specific marketing initiatives, internal communications and sales optimization support.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Actively live the Company’s mission statement and embody its core values of Development of People, Relationships, Customer Service, & Safety.
• Responsible for the Gulfeagle brand in the market
• Develops methods and strategies for assessing large amounts of data
• Examines and adhere to company marketing budgets
• Study purchase trends of contractor base and target demographic
• Responsible for creation, distribution and management of press release initiatives
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Directs and implements the organizations advertising and promotional activities.
• Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches. Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products.
• Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research. Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services.
• Collaborates with senior executives as directed for various initiatives and projects for the organization.
• Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the departments operating budget. Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Responsible for managing in-house and third-party graphic design.
• Leads and oversees marketing employees in both in-office and remote environments.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
• At least five years of experience in marketing and long-range planning required.
  
  
  

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as online social media and website creation/management. Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group and works well with the team. Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively. Possesses strong problem-solving skills. Works well with a team. Possesses strong writing skills. Is capable of conducting independent research. Demonstrates familiarity with traditional and online media platforms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

• Full-time, in-person position.
• Periodic travel (up to 50%) to Company-Sponsored Events is required.
