Current Available Role: Laboratory Technician
Job Type and Location: Full-time; Kenner, Louisiana
Description:
Full time role performing various soil laboratory tests. This role includes the following duties:
- Perform various soil tests
- Coordinate with other staff members, laboratory manager, and company engineers
- Understand laboratory test methods involved in geotechnical explorations
- Work environment is indoors
- Must have legible penmanship
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation and pass pre-employment drug screen
- Must be able to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm during week
- Possible weekend work at times
- Lifting up to 30 lbs with assistance as necessary
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining laboratory work area and equipment
Education:
· High school diploma (Required)
Licenses:
· Any applicable certificates (Preferable)
o Driver's License (Required); Must be over 21 years of age.
Prior Work Experience:
· Not required but preferable
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
