Laboratory Technician

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Laboratory Technician to join our analytical laboratory team. This role directly supports our Chemists and Lab Scientists through hands-on testing, sample preparation, and accurate documentation.

You’ll work in a fast-paced, quality-focused environment where precision, ownership, and strong communication are essential. Candidates who thrive in structured roles, enjoy problem-solving, and want long-term growth in laboratory science will excel here.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing, including:
  • Titrations
  • Liquid extractions
  • Weight‑difference measurements
• Support Chemists with routine and specialized testing
• Run daily backlog and prioritize testing sequences
• Conduct data entry, analysis, and reporting
• Ensure accuracy through proper documentation and quality practices
• Maintain clean, safe laboratory work areas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a life science
• Research experience or additional laboratory coursework preferred
• Prior exposure to analytical testing environments
• Experience working in busy, high-demand workplaces (hospitality, service industry, etc.)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEW ORLEANS, LA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
