What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Director position at Gulf Coast Social Services?
The Regional Director is accountable to the CEO or their designee for the strategic leadership, management, development, and operational oversight of the Baton Rouge Region. The Regional Director ensures that all regional programs are responsive to client needs, operate efficiently and effectively, and align with the Agency's mission, goals, and performance objectives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage the operations and supervise the Program Directors and assigned administrative staff, and the Baton Rouge HR Administrator in performing their respective responsibilities.
- Oversee the management of multiple behavioral health, home, and community-based service programs to ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory agencies.
- Manage the Baton Rouge region's use of community resources.
- Ensure there is a record-keeping system in place that keeps all records up-to-date and in compliance.
- Develop and monitor the program budgets and take appropriate action to maintain the fiscal soundness of the region.
- Maintain a positive community image and relationship.
- Manage client treatment delivery systems within the region.
- Oversee Agency property management in compliance with fire, safety, health, and licensing standards.
- Report and be accountable for regional issues to the CEO and be available on-call for regional staff.
- Develop and implement annual goals and objectives for the region.
- Initiate and manage fundraising activities within the region.
- Maintain positive relationships with state agencies, consumers, and their families, and promote cooperative teamwork within the region
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
