Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in various accounting software.
Duties
- Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with sale account and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
- Maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
- Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables and purchase orders.
- Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, customers and vendors.
- Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
- Create daily reports for management and team members.
- Knowledge word, excel and QuickBooks
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and GAAP principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments.
- Previous experience in an accounting or clerical role is a plus but not required.
- Multi Bilingual Vietnamese, Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus.
