Automotive Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and maintaining efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of general ledger accounting principles and experience with various accounting software, including CDK / Excell .

Duties

• Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
• Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and collections
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
• Maintain the general ledger by recording journal entries and adjustments as necessary
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status or discrepancies

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles and practices
• Experience using accounting software such CDK / Excell
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and team members
• Previous experience in account reconciliation is a plus
