Schedule: Flexible schedule. Availability required any day of the week between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, based on business needs, with primary availability Thursday through Monday.
Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours during peak seasons.
Job Overview
Gulf Coast Rentals Cleaning LLC is hiring dependable, detail-oriented Vacation Rental Cleaning Technicians to clean, reset, and prepare vacation rental homes throughout Bradenton and Anna Maria Island.
Technicians typically work in teams of two, completing approximately 2–3 properties per day depending on property size and workload, but may also work independently when needed.
Employees must have reliable personal transportation during the initial training period. As training progresses, eligible employees may be assigned a company vehicle for work-related travel, typically within the first few months of employment, based on performance, driving eligibility, vehicle availability, and business needs.
All cleaning supplies, equipment, and tools are provided by GCRC.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in exceptional cleaning, staging, and presentation. While efficiency is important, quality always comes first at GCRC. Every property must be fully clean, reset, organized, and guest-ready before arrival.
Duties
- Perform complete vacation rental turnover cleanings according to GCRC checklists and property-specific instructions.
- Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, laundry areas, patios, and other assigned spaces.
- Dust furniture, décor, baseboards, vents, ceiling fans, fixtures, shelves, and other surfaces.
- Vacuum and mop flooring, including underneath furniture when accessible.
- Clean around and behind toilets and other hard-to-reach areas.
- Clean appliances and other assigned items as required.
- Make beds and stage properties to GCRC hospitality standards.
- Arrange pillows, towels, décor, amenities, and guest supplies.
- Restock toiletries and consumables as assigned.
- Complete required digital checklists and property photos.
- Perform a final walkthrough to ensure the home is 100% guest-ready.
- Report damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, or anything that may affect the guest experience.
- Work effectively with another technician or independently when assigned.
- Communicate with the operations team throughout the workday regarding progress, delays, or property concerns.
- Safely operate and care for a company vehicle when assigned.
- Properly care for company-provided supplies, tools, and equipment, including refilling cleaning chemicals and restocking cleaning tools and supplies to ensure the vehicle and team are fully prepared for each workday.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1 year of professional cleaning experience required.
- Vacation rental, hotel, hospitality, or residential housekeeping experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in high-quality work.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning and staging instructions.
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, digital checklists, GPS navigation, and communication.
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting guest arrival deadlines.
- Reliable personal transportation required during the initial training period.
- Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to qualify to operate a company vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs, bend, kneel, reach, stand, and remain physically active throughout the workday.
