What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Experience and Sales Coordinator position at Gulf Coast Pelvic Health?
Please read this entire post before applying. How you apply is the first part of the interview.
Gulf Coast Pelvic Health is a private-pay pelvic health and hypermobility practice. We see every patient one-on-one for a full hour in a private room, and we are growing, with a waitlist most days and new locations ahead.
We are hiring the person who owns the very first moment a patient reaches us. This is a sales and conversion role, not a front-desk job. Most of your day is on the phone, turning inbound inquiries into booked, paid, and prepared evaluations. You are the first person a nervous, hurting patient talks to, often after being dismissed elsewhere, and in a few minutes you make them feel understood and guide them toward a yes. Greeting patients at the desk is a small part of the job. Conversion is the heart of it.
Your core scoreboard: how many qualified callers you turn into booked, paid evaluations, how many shows, and how fast you reach new inquiries.
If you want a quiet front-desk job taking messages, this will feel stressful. If you like being on the phone most of the day guiding people to decisions, you will love it here.
Two things to know up front:
- We are private pay and do not bill insurance.
- We do not offer benefits such as health insurance at this time, and that will not change in the near future.
If either of those is a dealbreaker for you, we understand, and this is not the role for you.
You will thrive here if you:
- Love turning a conversation into a decision, and see guiding someone to a yes as service, not pressure
- Stay calm and sharp under pressure, when the phone is ringing and a patient is at the desk at the same time
- Believe great care is worth paying for, and can hold a price with confidence
- Are coachable and hungry to improve, with a growth mindset
- Are motivated by results and follow-through, and take real ownership of an outcome
- Are comfortable with technology, a CRM, and AI as everyday tools
Pay is $20 to $25 per hour based on experience, plus bonus and commission tied to your conversion results. There is real room to grow as we expand.
