Summary
SPECTRUM Commercial Finance, an asset based lending and accounts receivable financing company, is seeking a Collateral Analyst for our Asset Based Lending division.
SPECTRUM is headquartered in Bloomington, MN and specializes in providing financing to financially challenged business nationwide. We are in the office 5 days a week and do provide on the job training for all duties listed below.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in the maintenance, monitoring, and management of the asset based lending portfolio, this includes:
- Processing and monitoring client’s daily collateral and loan activities
- Reviewing and processing client’s monthly resets
- Handling client’s daily loan advance requests
- Analyzing client reports
- Tracking, monitoring and enforcing client reporting
- Troubleshooting and resolving client issues with management as needed
- Assisting in new client searches and onboarding (including training and follow-up on certain documentation)
- Assisting in additional administrative tasks associated with this position, this includes:
- Handling daily banking activity
- Processing lockbox from time to time
- Managing UCC filing and upkeep along with other client searches
- Assist in client document and certificate follow-up tracking (Tickler List management)
- Assisting in continual development of monitoring procedures and company operations
- Handling special projects as assigned by management.
- Assisting in various administrative duties.
Requirements
Skills/Experience/Education
- Two year Accounting, Finance, or other Business degree or equivalent experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary
- Must be detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook are required
- Must be a self starter, possess strong decision-making skills, and take ownership of various processes.
Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
- Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division any “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.

Salary : $52,000 - $69,000
