Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Primary Teacher (K–2) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who is passionate about early literacy, foundational math, and building strong classroom routines that support student growth.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Start Date: July 2026
Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate instruction for K–2 students
- Build strong classroom culture, routines, and positive behavior supports with Christian principles
- Teach and reinforce foundational skills (phonics, reading, writing, math)
- Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
- Use assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Communicate consistently and professionally with families and school leadership
- Maintain accurate student records and required documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade
- Training/experience in early literacy instruction and intervention
Compensation
- Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
