Legacy Heights Academy is hiring a Full-Time Elementary Teacher (Grades 3–5) for July 2026. We are seeking a Georgia-certified educator who can deliver strong instruction, support student accountability, and build a structured, positive classroom culture.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Start Date: July 2026
Work Location: In-person, Augusta, GA
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver standards-aligned instruction for Grades 3–5
- Strengthen reading comprehension, writing, math fluency, and problem-solving
- Differentiate instruction and provide small-group support as needed
- Use assessments and data to monitor progress and adjust instruction
- Maintain a well-managed classroom environment with clear expectations based on Christian principles
- Communicate effectively with families and school leadership
- Maintain accurate records and required documentation
- Collaborate with colleagues to support grade-level and school-wide goals
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid Georgia Teaching Certification
- Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching upper elementary (Grades 3–5)
- Experience preparing students for standardized testing expectations (where applicable)
Compensation
- Hourly pay, based on experience and qualifications
