Key Responsibilities
- Maximize sales and ensure market penetration within an assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and facility end-users
- Drive product specification and sales within the commercial construction sector, especially in healthcare-related projects
- Conduct in-person product presentations and lunch & learns with A&D firms
- Identify and develop new opportunities, customers, and strategic relationships
- Represent the company as a trusted product expert and resource in the industry
- Maintain detailed knowledge of company offerings and market trends
- Travel regularly across Upstate New York and Eastern Pennsylvania
- Based in or near Rochester or Syracuse, NY
- 3–5 years of outside sales experience in building materials, commercial construction, or related industry
- Proven experience calling on architects, designers, and contractors
- Familiarity with commercial specification processes
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, relationship-focused, and highly organized
- Comfortable with regional travel as part of daily responsibilities
