Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
* Checking in/out guest arrivals and departures.
* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of various work areas including, but not limited to: Lobby, Restrooms, Breakfast room and Office.
* Set up for and open breakfast each morning at the designated hours.
* Processes the Night Audit functions to post overnight room charges and open the next calendar day.
* Courteously answer inquiries and accept in-person and phone reservations by accurately communicating hotel rates and information.
* Resolve guest concerns, questions and complaints.
* Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by leadership.
Job Qualifications:
* Must be over 18.
* Must have reliable transportation.
*Must be flexible with the work schedule and be able to work Dayshifts, Evenings and Graveyards.
* Must have past experience in dealing directly with the public and acquired general knowledge of basic customer service skills.
* Must be able to use tact and understanding when dealing with a variety of customer service problems, including stressful and highly emotional situations.
* Must have the ability to read, interpret and to readily communicate (in English), both verbally and in writing, information relating to his/her profession using proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
* Must have the ability to remain on task and work diligently independent of direct supervision.
* Must be able to think critically and resolve problems efficiently.
* Must be highly organized and able to pay attention to minute written and verbal details, particularly when performing multiple tasks.
* Must have a firm understanding of Windows-based computers, proficient typing skill, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
* Must have or acquire proficiency in OPERA Property Management System.
Pay: From $17.15 per hour
