Position Overview
We are seeking a Surgical Pack and Prep Assistant to support our surgery department. You will join a skilled and supportive team committed to excellent patient care. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency, safety, and sterility of our surgical operations.

Key Responsibilities
Surgical Preparation & Instrument Care
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment per hospital protocols
Assemble, wrap, and label surgical packs for various procedures
Inspect instruments for damage or functionality issues and report as needed
Operate and maintain autoclaves and other sterilization equipment
Ensure surgical suites are fully stocked, sanitized, and ready before and after procedures
Surgical Suite Preparation
Set up surgical suites with required sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
Clean and disinfect surgical tables, lights, floors, and surfaces
Maintain hospital standards for sterility and cleanliness in all surgical and prep areas
Inventory & Maintenance
Monitor inventory of surgical supplies, gowns, gloves, drapes, and equipment
Keep all prep and pack areas clean and organized
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on sterilization equipment
General Duties
Follow all sterilization and sanitation protocols
Assist with surgery-related laundry
Provide occasional restraint or patient transport as needed
