Guardian Security is currently looking for a Security Sales Rep to join our team! Guardian Security was founded in 1976, and we have been serving the people of the Pacific Northwest with their security and fire protection needs since then - for officially 50 years! We are locally owned and operated, with four offices located in Yakima, Tacoma, Bellingham, and the SODO district of Seattle.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Security Sales Representative to join our team! The Security Sales Representative is an Outside Sales position reporting to the Northsound Sales Manager. Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $67,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (note: this is a commission-based role.)
Schedule: M-F, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm. *Schedule may vary based on customer and business needs.
Core Responsibilities:
- Working with new and current customers for Commercial sales of Intrusion, Verified Response, Video, Access Control systems, Fire monitoring, and Residential accounts.
- Following the structured sales program.
- Achieves monthly quotas of $450 (RMR) and $10,000 (IR).
- Meets the activity requirements of the Guardian Sales program, including a minimum of 10 prospective customer meetings per week whether that be existing or new.
- Submits at least $575 in security RMR proposed
- Maintains an updated Outlook calendar to account for activity.
- Participates in the daily Pulse Call and End of Day meetings.
- Maintains required weekly reporting.
- Account management
- Prospect via networking, social media, email, referral business, cold calling, and door knocking.
- This position will be on the road, 50-65% of your time will be spent driving to potential or existing client meetings
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned as needed.
Key Competencies:
- 1-2 years of sales experience (preferred)
- Valid and current Driver’s license with reliable transportation (required)
- Ability to problem solve, self-start, and work with little direction
- Flexible and dependable
- Professional demeanor and attitude
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Detailed, organized, and self-motivated.
