Role Description
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for leading Guardian Revival through its next phase of growth and operational maturity. Working in close partnership with the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide both strategic leadership and hands-on oversight of execution, ensuring that the organization’s mission, programs, and resources are aligned to deliver measurable impact. This role requires a leader who can bring clarity, structure, and accountability to a mission-driven organization, while building strong relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Organizational Leadership and Execution
- Lead the organization’s day-to-day operations through the executive team, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution
- Establish clear priorities, decision-making processes, and accountability across programs and functions
- Stabilize and strengthen organizational infrastructure, including systems, processes, and leadership effectiveness
Board Partnership and Governance
- Partner closely with the Board of Directors to define strategic priorities and ensure strong governance practices
- Provide regular, transparent updates on organizational performance, risks, and opportunities
- Support Board committees and leverage Board expertise to advance organizational objectives
Program Strategy and Impact
- Ensure clarity, focus, and scalability of Guardian Revival’s programs, including Another Summit and related initiatives
- Evaluate program effectiveness and align resources toward highest-impact activities
- Translate mission into measurable outcomes and sustainable program models
Fundraising and External Relationships
- Serve as a primary ambassador for the organization, building trust with donors, partners, and stakeholders
- Partner with the Board and development leadership to strengthen fundraising strategy and execution
- Ensure consistency and discipline in donor engagement and communication
Financial Oversight
- Ensure sound financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Align financial resources with strategic priorities and program impact
- Partner with finance leadership and the Board to maintain transparency and fiscal discipline
Culture and Leadership Development
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership team
- Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and mission alignment
- Provide coaching and development to senior leaders to strengthen organizational capability
Qualifications
- 15 years of progressive leadership experience, including senior executive or CEO-level responsibility
- Demonstrated experience leading organizations through periods of growth, transition, or operational change
- Strong track record of aligning strategy, operations, and people to deliver measurable results
- Experience working with or reporting to a Board of Directors
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and external stakeholders
- Financial acumen, including experience overseeing budgets and organizational performance
- Strong judgment, decision-making capability, and ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences
Nice to Have:
- Experience in nonprofit, veteran, first responder, or mental health sectors
- Fundraising leadership experience
Pay Range:
Salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $100,000 to $150,000 annually.
