As we continue expanding throughout Southern California and beyond, we are seeking a compassionate and clinically strong Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Position Summary

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing treatment for patients across various behavioral health settings. The ideal candidate has experience working within addiction and mental health treatment environments and thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven culture focused on improving patient outcomes.

This role offers flexibility with a combination of in-person and telehealth services. Candidates who can support the practice's growth initiatives through specialized expertise, referral relationships, or multi-state capabilities will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide medication management services
• Monitor treatment response and adjust medications as clinically indicated
• Coordinate care with therapists, treatment teams, and referring providers
• Participate in treatment planning for patients across various levels of behavioral healthcare
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Support insurance credentialing and compliance processes
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams

Preferred Qualifications

Highly Preferred:

• Active California PMHNP license
• Ability to work onsite at least 1–2 days per week in the Santa Monica area
• Full-time availability

Additional Qualifications That Will Set Candidates Apart:

• Existing collaborating physician relationship (if applicable and transferable)
• Experience working in:
  • PHP (Partial Hospitalization Programs)
  • IOP (Intensive Outpatient Programs)
  • Residential Treatment
  • Detox Programs
  • Addiction Medicine
• Adolescent psychiatry experience
• Experience with TMS treatment
• Experience with Spravato® administration and monitoring
• Familiarity with long-acting injectable medications and MAT programs
• Existing payer credentialing with commercial insurance plans
• Dual licensure or eligibility to practice in multiple states
• Established referral relationships within the behavioral health community
