We are a leading provider of mental health and substance abuse treatment services, dedicated to transforming lives and communities through compassionate care and evidence-based practices.

We are currently seeking several skilled Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our roster of per diem medical providers here at The Plymouth House.

As a Nurse Practitioner in our detox and residential program, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through the early stages of recovery. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage withdrawal symptoms, monitor patient health, and provide comprehensive medical care in a structured and supportive environment.

 

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required.
• Active and unencumbered licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Hampshire.
• Two (2) years of experience in detox, substance abuse treatment, or behavioral health settings is preferred.
• At minimum, a willingness to learn detox is required, which can be built upon a conceptual knowledge of withdrawal protocols, detox treatment procedures, and medication management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Current certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are required.
• Commitment to promoting a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including evaluations related to substance withdrawal and detoxification.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans to support patients in detox and residential settings.
• Prescribe and monitor medications for withdrawal management and symptom control.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including clinical therapists, counselors, and case managers, to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients on recovery options, self-care during withdrawal, and long-term wellness strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, documenting all interactions thoroughly.
• Provide crisis support and guidance to patients, helping them navigate the early stages of recovery.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, to protect patient confidentiality.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay: $75.00 - $95.00 per hour depending on experience (this is membership on a per-diem roster with no benefits offered).
Schedule: Per diem, and most available shifts are during day hours.
