Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and client-focused Loan Officer Assistant to support a top-producing mortgage team. This role serves as the first point of contact for incoming leads and plays a critical role in converting inquiries into pre-approved borrowers.
The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for managing front-end communication, responding quickly to new leads, gathering borrower information, and ensuring a smooth handoff to the Loan Officer. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and enjoys consistent client interaction.
Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for inbound calls, texts, and emails from prospective borrowers

Respond to all new leads promptly with a strong sense of urgency

Make outbound follow-up calls to nurture leads and maintain consistent communication

Collect preliminary borrower information including income, assets, credit, property details, and loan goals

Assist in gathering and tracking required documentation for pre-approval

Maintain accurate and real-time updates within the CRM system

Schedule appointments and coordinate communication between borrowers and Loan Officers

Provide frequent status updates to borrowers and internal team members

Ensure no leads or follow-ups fall through the cracks

Deliver a professional, positive, and high-touch borrower experience
Qualifications

Strong phone presence with a confident, professional, and friendly communication style
