Cook Qualification Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- The ability to pass a drug test and background check is required.
- Experience as a prep cook at minimum is needed, which can be informal/volunteering or professional experience.
- Prior food service experience in a healthcare setting would be helpful, although we can train someone in the necessary skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards, or the ability to be trained in these topics.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare a variety of dishes.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Cook Job Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus, ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met.
- Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing food and supplies.
- Special Diets: Accommodate special dietary needs and preferences of clients, as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Menu Planning: Assist with menu planning and development to provide a variety of nutritious and appealing meals.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
Pay: $20 to $21 per hourly based on experience.
Schedule: FT Sunday-Wednesday 7am-6pm
